Welcome to our blogs on all things health.

Sometimes we are limited by ourselves at the very best and most important moments.

You walk in the supermarket and see the woman or man of your life. And you notice that he or she likes you too. You want to walk up to make contact but something stops you. It's as if you are frozen and unable to respond.

Or you have a very nice date, but you are so nervous that you almost want to cancel. During the date you can't get your words out. And you are afraid your date will snap at you.

You can also have feelings like this at work, think of a presentation or a performance review. Or perhaps applying for a promotion or salary increase.

You then feel the tension in your body, your stomach is upset and your heart is working overtime.

These are also all examples of your autonomic nervous system which is unnecessarily in fight and flight mode. Because it assesses the requested conditions as dangerous.

Through our training and the Safe and Sound protocol you learn to be calmer in such situations from now on, so that they are manageable for you. And you can respond from a calm state.

The autonomic nervous system not only controls our vital body processes, but is also directly involved with how we experience life. It influences how we live, love and work. It even determines how we live our lives.

With the development of the Polyvagal theory Drs. Stephen Porges has discovered how the vegal nerve works. This deeper understanding of how our autonomic nervous system works shows three main pathways. The sympathetic fight or flight state, the dorsal frozen and collapsed state and the ventral relaxed state. When we are connected to our relaxed state, we move through life with a sense of security and can successfully deal with the demands and challenges that life presents to us. From this state, we can also successfully connect with other people.

The ventral relaxed state of our autonomic nervous system is the system that provides connection to others. This state is essential to our health and overall well-being. In this state, we feel robust and in our power. Life is enjoyable, we see our options and possibilities. We are connected to ourselves, to others and to the world around us. We are balanced and ready for whatever life brings us.

Connecting goes deeper than just meeting people. For example, you may meet people all day for work. But still feel alone. Ultimately, it's about the quality of the connections you make. Therefore, in our course you will learn how to make and recognize connections that are of a high quality and fit you. As a result, you are more likely to experience satisfaction and be more satisfied with your life. And you develop strong intimate relationships with others. Your individual sense of happiness is also partly determined by the extent to which you are part of a network of happy people.

Please feel free to contact with us to get started on our course and the Safe and Sound protocol, Or if you want to know more information. And take the next step in your life to consciously make connections that make you better and happier.
