Welcome to our blogs on all things health.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, it is important to call your primary care physician or the HAP as soon as possible. If your life is in danger, call 112. If you are feeling suicidal, call 0800-0113; this emergency service is available 24 hours a day.

Here are a few next steps you can take:

  1. Talk to someone you trust: Try talking to someone you trust, such as a friend, family member, or family doctor. Seek support from people who help you understand your feelings and are willing to listen.
  2. Seek professional advice: If you feel you need help from a professional, contact a psychologist or psychiatrist. They can help you get the right treatment.
  3. Use crisis services: If you are in an emergency situation, look for crisis services in your area. These may include local helplines or crisis centers where you can go for help.
  4. Try to relax: Try to relax by, for example, meditating, going for a walk, or taking a warm bath. Look for activities that help you relax and calm down.
  5. Take care of yourself: Try to maintain healthy habits, such as getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising. This can help improve your mental health.
